Puretech’s multi-effect still offers quality distillate, high efficiency and reliability from this water for injection system.
Puretech’s multi-effect stills are designed and constructed to offer the ultimate solution for the production of water for injection (WFI), pyrogen-free sterile water – in full compliance with FDA and EMEA requirements.
Puretech multi-effect stills have been engineered to maximise energy efficiency without compromising quality.
Puretech standard steam heated multi-effect stills are available up to 7000 l/h WFI production capacity with seven or eight columns and used as stand alone units or combined with Puretech pure steam generators.
Puretech electrically heated multi-effect stills are available up to 500 l/h as standard. Larger capacity units can be engineered to order.
All Puretech multi effect stills comply with all relevant international standards including cGMP, USP, ISPE, ASME, BPE.
Typical quality values in regular production of WFI distillate and condensed pure steam are:
Conductivity: <0,5μS/cm, 25°C
Mirco Organisms: <0,01 Cfu/ml
Endotoxines: <0,125 EH/ml
TOC: ≤50 ppb
